Julián Carranza was one of the first two players to be announced as Inter Miami CF players. The Argentine forward joined Inter Miami last month alongside MaMatías Pellegrini.
“Julian is a very grounded player with an impressive work rate. He’s the player that strives to score goals and is very good in the box”

Carranza's professional career began with Argentine Primera División side Banfield in 2017. He scored eight goals in 29 appearances for Banfield before his move to Inter Miami. However, like Matías Pellegrini he went back on loan to his Argentine club till Inter officially joins the league in January.

Inter purchased his rights for a reported $6M with a 10% sell-on clause. Carranza joins a trend of young Argentine forwards coming to MLS. Atlanta's Pity Martinez, Ezequiel Barco, and Columbus' Milton Valenzuela have all joined MLS in the last couple seasons.
