TRAINING DAYYYYYYY. What a week. Inter Miami CF finally took the pitch as a team with their first week of training. This week took place at Barry University and featured some interesting insight from players about their first week with Diego Alonso as boss.

Luis Robles and Lee Nguyen gave some interesting quotes after a couple days of training this week. Robles spoke about training being like the first day of school, and also about the blend of diversity and cultures among the team. Nguyen spoke about Alonso's mentality and the style of play that was being discussed early on.

There were two bits of transfer news this week. Inter are apparently pretty far down the line in talks with Cristian Tello. The Real Betis forward's sell-on fee would be split between Betis and Barcelona should the deal take place. Inter was also linked to Funes Mori of Monterrey. This rumor was most interesting to me purely because of Mori's history with Diego Alonso at Monterrey.

Inter Miami also officially introduced Diego Alonso as the club's manager.
