Inter Miami announced on Friday that it traded for Wil Trapp from the Columbus Crew. The trade will see $100,000 in General Allocation Money go back to the Crew alongside an international roster slot.
“Wil is one of the most respected leaders in American soccer. He has served as captain at both the club and international levels and fits the culture we are building here in South Florida. Wil is also a top-class midfielder with established success in MLS.”

The move sees Miami add yet another midfielder to their roster depth. In his time at Columbus, Trapp made 2014 appearances and helped them reach the playoffs four times.
